CAPTAINS EACH WEEK MUST ALWAYS:
1.  Use each players' handicap numbers from the latest Roster document.  New players start with 30.

News and Information............

  • The Awards Ceremony was held on March 28th at Pines Lakes at which the following team and individual winners were awarded their plaques of achievement for this past 2024-2025 8-ball season:​​
  • The Spring 2025 Season winners are:
    • Tamiami Village has a repeat win for the Spring season.  They won 70% of their games with 1,616 points in the 9 week season.  They were victorious in 38 games and lost only 16.
    • The runner up team is Six Lakes with a winning percentage of 68.5% and amassed 1,545 points.  They had 38 wins and 17 losses.
    • Al Young is the MVP for spring.  He has 337 points amassed in 37 wins and 8 losses
 
  • The Fall 2024 Season winners are:
    • Tamiami Village is the season's winner with them winning 69% of their matches and amassing 1226 points in 117 games won and only 13 losses.
    • The runner up team is Del Tura 2 with them winning 67% of their matches and amassing 1227 points in 100 games won and 14 losses.
    • Jim Ingersoll is the MVP by amassing 262 points in 27 wins and 8 losses. â€‹
 
  • At the Awards Ceremony it was announced that Tuesday evening open matches would be held at Del Tura.  Please contact Ernie Page (772-678-9871 or ernestpage3@gmail.com) for additional information.

  • Pictures for most teams' have been posted.  Still needing Lake fairways 1 and Pine Lakes 2.   Please send to me if you have a picture of your team or can take one post-season. 
 
  • Al Solvang has updated about 90% of all documents including score sheets, rules and procedures.  He has created and we've added an Allocation of Handicaps table.  Check these out.
 
  • You may notice that the Website has a slightly different look as well as the reports and data have been separated into individual tabs on the menu.  If you have any difficulty in navigating, please contact Mike Stropes.  Also, if you see any issues for the Website, please let me know and let Rich know of any data issues.  Note that the 2024 Spring Results page is in the old format.  It will be revised with the Spring season in 2025.

  • FYI, Harry Cowan is not returning to Florida this year.  Mike Stropes will be assuming the role of the league's Webmaster.  Harry has performed this role for years and we thank him for his expertise and dedication to this task and hope to see him again next year.​
