Data Input via text or email preferably by noon the following day.

1. Go to website: cowanh.wixsite.com

Link to Score Sheets, Instructions and Allocation of Handicaps are in Forms & Procedure

    section.

There are nine (9) versions of the Score Sheet to accommodate various absentee situations.

Please use the appropriate Score Sheet.  In most cases, Score Sheet #1 will be used. Score

sheets are available to print from the website.

PRINT CLEARLY AND PREFERABLY USE INK, NOT PENCIL.

2. Click on Roster. Roster is updated weekly to correspond to the current week playing.

Order of play is decided by each team’s Captain. Enter the player’s rating from the Roster

to the Rating Column to the left of player’s name on the appropriate score sheet.

All new players with non-established rating enter a rating of 30.

Note: If you are adding a player who is not on the Roster, please include last name,

indicate whether player is to be full time or substitute player and if you

are changing players from sub to permanent or vice versa on the score sheet.

3. Add up the ratings and enter your team total as either Higher or Lower Team Total in the

boxes to the bottom left of the score sheet, subtract the lower from the higher and

the difference is the total handicap for the match.

4. The total handicap gets spread across five rounds. Refer to Allocation of Handicaps to Rounds Chart from the Website which shows how total handicaps are to be allocated to rounds.  Follow the order of play from the Home Team side and play round by round.         A win is 8 points. Loss score is number of balls made, i.e. balls left on the table minus seven. In the event of a tied score in a round, the highest number of games won in that round wins the round.  The 6th round (“wood round”) is won by the team with the highest total score, including handicap.  In the event that the total number of points in the sixth round (including handicaps) are the same, the team with the most games won out of the     25 games played, wins the 6th round.

5.  Match starts when Home Team Captain calls out the players and table following the Home Team side of the score sheet.
